Espelkamp, April 25th, 2012 - The HARTING Technology Group welcomed German Federal Chancellor Angela Merkel and Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao to its stand at the start of the Hannover Messe 2012. Jiabao and Merkel found the time for the Harting family to inform them about the company, its international locations and its products. The greeting was firstly given by President of HARTING Technology Group, Mr. Dietmar Harting to introduce the family-owned company and its history – The Group was founded in 1945 and set up China company in 1988. Mr. Philip Harting, Senior Vice President of Connectivity and Networks further highlighted our new and innovative products at Hannover Messe.   Jiabao was impressed by the family owned company, “Great, you are family owned company, and now you have 2 families – one in China and one in Germany!”          China is the partner country of the annual Hannover Messe this year and a large Chinese delegation therefore accompanied the prominent visitors to the Espelkamp-based family company’s exhibition stand. The visit of the Chinese Premier was a significant moment for HARTING’s many Chinese employees in particular.
