Rare earth elements are the collection of seventeen chemical elements in the periodic table, namely scandium, yttrium and the fifteen lanthanides. They are incorporated into many modern technological devices, including superconductors, miniaturized magnets, electronic polishers, refining catalysts and hybrid car components, etc. The use of rare earth elements in modern technology has increased dramatically over the past years.
In order to promote rare earth science and technology, the Chinese Society of Rare Earths is very glad to have the honor to hold the 7th International Conference on Rare Earth Development and Application (ICRE’2013), which will be held in August 2013. The location of the conference is in Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province, China.
ICRE is a series of international rare earth conference organized by The Chinese Society of Rare Earths (CSRE). By far, we had organized successfully six International Conferences since 1985. The latest one is ICRE'2010, held in 2010 in Beijing, China. More than one hundred scholars, experts and entrepreneurs outside China joined this Conference. While many new developments having been acquired in the last few years, ICRE’2013 will offer an opportunity for the people in all walks of life related to rare earths to get together for the purpose of learning and exchanging information about new research results, new ideas and find new opportunities for R&D programs and cooperation. As a main producer and supplier of rare earth raw material and products, China is always interested in what is going on in the field of rare earths around the world.
The Chinese Society of Rare Earths (CSRE) has the pleasure to host ICRE’2013, which will be a great gathering of global rare earth scientists, engineers and business executives. All the friends engaged in the field of rare earths and related scientific and industrial branches are warmly welcome to join us and to contribute to ICRE’2013.
